QLD:Dissent in Queensland Party over merger
One of the founders of the Queensland Party says he's "considering his options" to
keep the political entity alive, after party leader AIDAN MCLINDON announced a merger
with BOB KATTER'S Australian Party.
JIM NICHOLLS wrote the party's constitution and is its candidate for the seat of Mt Isa.
He's expressed concern over the merger, saying the national focus of the Australian
Party will reduce the focus on Queensland's interests.
