NSW: Motorcyclist dies in accident
A 22-year-old Woolgoolga man is dead after his motorcycle hit a barrier on the Pacific
Highway at Coffs Harbour last night.
A police spokeswoman says the rider lost control of his motorcycle at about 8.40pm
after he failed to negotiate a left hand bend.
She says the motorcycle hit a centre barrier, rebounding across the road into the back
of a car before striking an embankment.
A passing doctor attempted to revive the man at the scene before he was transferred
to Coffs Harbour District Hospital where he later died.
Investigations into the accident are continuing.
